As Walt Disney sat on a bench in Griffith Park while watching his daughters ride the nearby carousel, he had an idea. He said, “I felt that there should be something built where the parents and the children could have fun together.” Walt’s dream became a reality on July 17th, 1955 with the opening of Disneyland Park. Since 1955 Disneyland Park has gone through numerous renovations and expansions and now includes two theme parks, 3 hotel complexes and the Downtown Disney entertainment, dining and shopping area. Our fellow Outlander Agent Kristen had the opportunity to attend a Disney Agent Education Program at Disneyland Resort. This was her first visit to Disneyland, and we’re excited to hear her thoughts, so let’s get started!
