Airing in 1977 one of the ships, Pacific Princess, was cast in a starring role and millions of viewers began to imagine, plan and dream how they to could join Gopher, Julie, Isaac, Doc and Captain Stubing and Create some amazing memories of their own. Princess has remained synonymous with cruising ever since. The show, which can still be seen around the world, has been widely credited with fueling the dramatic expansion of the cruise industry.
