Show Notes

Last week, we opened up the discussion about Heritage travel by speaking with two research librarians who shared how to get started discovering your roots and heritage. But once you do that, it’s time to plan your “journey to the past.” You’ll want to visit the towns and cities where your ancestors once lived and worked and played. Maybe you will even have enough information to find your ancestral home! Planning travel to discover family history is one of the most popular and sometimes the most complex undertakings, so you will want your travel agent to help you make it the best trip it can be.

Tonight, we are excited to welcome Michelle Bartlett to the podcast. Michelle is a Business Development Manager with Authentic Vacations, one of our preferred partners to work with. We asked her to join us today because this is a type of travel we often turn to her company to assist us with, especially for our clients whose roots reach back to Ireland and Scotland.
